EMPLOYER TESTIMONIALSKatie Brooks, Workforce Development, Tucson Medical Center
"Our relationship with TYD is a perfect match. The students they have sent us have been exceptional - incredibly hard-working and motivated. They know what they want and bring phenomenal compassion and commitment to their work. They fill the hallways of TMC with a freshness and a vitality. Despite whatever challenges they have been through or are currently experiencing, they are consistently professional and have set exceptional goals. Being around them keeps me young and I learn from them every day. I am very lucky." Elizabeth Sorton, Tucson High Magnet School
"We have enjoyed having the TYD students at our school for the last several years. We look forward to them coming each year. The kids are very efficient and do their jobs very professionally. We have to put out a summer mailer for 3500 students and our TYD students are a big help with that. I am not sure we could get it out on time without their help. I also think that the staff enjoys helping students with summer jobs." Martha Serda, Assistant News Director, Scripps Media
“All three interns in this program: Sydney, Jordan and Annalise have been amazing. They are bright, curious, professional, polite, eager and most importantly engaged. They are truly invested in their future and have contributed greatly to our product since being here. They are incredibly respectful toward everyone trying to teach them something. We wish them all the best when they are through and hope we see them again someday in a hired position!!!” Smokey Rivers, Radio Programming Operations Director, Scripps Media
“Most of the students in the program showed avid interest in the stations behind the scenes. They were smart, punctual, and always willing to play an active role in promotions and programming.”
