Welcome to Tucson Youth Development

Annually, Tucson Youth Development, Inc. provides direct services to over 1200 eligible youths ages 14-21 in Pima County, Arizona. Through collaboration and outreach, TYD serves youth in the Tucson urban community, as well as the outlying areas of Ajo, Sahuarita, Marana, Robles Junction, Vail, and Catalina.

Funded by the Pima County Community Services Department, City of Tucson Mayor and Council, Pima County Board of Supervisors, local school districts and the Arizona Department of Education, TYD operates in-school, dropout, and summer youth employment and education programs. TYD has written and obtained over 40 million dollars in grants that have gone directly back into the community.

Under the direction of Arnold Palacios, Executive Director, staff is available to help with your questions on a scheduled or drop in basis. We are open from 8:00-5:00 Mondays-Fridays at 1901 N. Stone Ave. Tucson, Arizona 85705.
